Photo of the Day: Summer Garden, NJ State Botanical Garden, Skylands
Well, it really didn’t feel like summer early in May
when I visited New Jersey State Botanical Garden at Skylands. Nor, at least in terms of the calendar, is
it, technically speaking, now. But the summer garden here at this lovely site
(which I wrote about a couple of days ago in this post) sure looked like it was already eagerly anticipating the
change in the weather.
Michael, Saying that Summer has begun on May 24th or June 1 is much like thermal warming will destroy the planet ... both are inevitable, but they haven't arrived yet. I always enjoy your blog. Michael M
I'm a librarian (no, NOT a "cybrarian" or "information scientist" or any of the other trendy terms the profession has come up with), as well as a freelance writer/researcher; my political leanings are contrarian, much to the dismay of friends on the left and right, and so I will give anyone looking for my vote exactly what they deserve -- the back of my hand
