This afternoon while in Fort Lee, a few miles from where I live in Bergen County, NJ, I had a little extra time, so I took a five-minute walk north of the George Washington Bridge.
I’ve
become accustomed to how much the borough has changed over the years. But the mural you see here—and which I promptly
photographed—was a sight I hadn’t come across before.
The mural, located at 1637 Palisade Avenue, was unveiled
this past August. It was created by Dan Kitchener, a London-based artist whose
street art can also be seen in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Russia, the United Kingdom,
and elsewhere in Europe.
