A little over a week ago, heading toward a film at the Museum of Modern Art, I was struck by this image—a permanent sculpture at the northeast corner of 53rd Street and Avenue of the Americas.
Jean-Marc
was created in
2012 by the Parisian artist Xavier Veilhan. For this, his first permanent
outdoor work in the US, he used stainless steel and polyurethane paint to create
this unusual image of fellow French artist Jean-Marc Bustamante.
