Photo of the Day: Meadow Men (and Women), Prospect Park, Brooklyn
On a Sunday a month ago, I took this shot, in
Brooklyn’s Prospect Park, of the Long Meadow—reputed to be the longest
stretch (nearly one mile) of unbroken meadow in any U.S. urban park. You can tell that the
temperatures remain moderate at this point, as those in the picture are running
around so much.
I'm a librarian (no, NOT a "cybrarian" or "information scientist" or any of the other trendy terms the profession has come up with), as well as a freelance writer/researcher; my political leanings are contrarian, much to the dismay of friends on the left and right, and so I will give anyone looking for my vote exactly what they deserve -- the back of my hand
