Photo of the Day: Time Tunnel
This post is a companion to one I put up a few weeks ago showing “ecoart,” one of five former
drainage pipes in the woods at the Teaneck Creek Park, operated by the Teaneck Creek Conservancy. The interior
of this pipe, like the other four, pictures periods in the history of the land
from prehistory to the present. It was created five years ago by muralist Eduardo Alexander Rabel with the help
of area schoolchildren and adult volunteers.
I'm a librarian (no, NOT a "cybrarian" or "information scientist" or any of the other trendy terms the profession has come up with), as well as a freelance writer/researcher; my political leanings are contrarian, much to the dismay of friends on the left and right, and so I will give anyone looking for my vote exactly what they deserve -- the back of my hand
