I was struck by the sight of this garden next to the
Oliver Archives Center at the
Chautauqua Institution in upstate New York as soon as I saw it on vacation last
week. Like much of the rest of the grounds, it presents a cornucopia of flora.
I didn’t get an opportunity to explore the center
itself when I was up there. This will provide another opportunity for me the
next time I get up to this community.
