Photo of the Day: Parking Lot Snow Mountain Range, Englewood, NJ



Even with temperatures in the 40s for the last few days, we got such a mound of snow over the weekend from Storm Jonas that it will take a while for it all to melt away. 

How much snow did we get? Well, I’ll put it this way: When I passed by Veterans Memorial Park in my hometown of Englewood, NJ, the piles of snow struck me instantly as resembling a mountain range, and I just had to take this shot.

Photo of the Day: Dig (Out) This—The Morning After Jonas, Englewood NJ



Thank God for my driveway! Out on the street where I live in Englewood, NJ, as you can see here, other residents saw their cars half-submerged under all the inches of snow from Storm Jonas.

I'm glad I don’t have to drive to work—though tomorrow morning, just walking to the bus stop, then the several blocks from the Port Authority to my office in Rockefeller Center, may be an adventure if re-freezing occurs overnight…
