Photo of the Day: Colonial Reenactors at Ringwood Manor NJ

A few weekends ago, I drove up to Ringwood Manor, just south of the New York-New Jersey border, to see players (and, as it turned out, spectators) dressed in 19^th-century garb. (For players, see this prior post; for spectators, this one.) I hadn’t expected to find anybody outfitted from the century before that, however.

So, when I saw these redcoats—and this lone colonist—I whipped out my camera and got this shot.
