Saddle River County Park, about a 25-minute ride from my home in
Bergen County, NJ, was the scene of bicyclists, pedestrians and simply people
who wanted to be out on an only slightly overcast spring afternoon today. I
entered the park in a spot I had never tried before: the Otto C. Pehle area in
Saddle Brook.
The bike and pedestrian path where I took this photo
wends its way around six miles, through Ridgewood, Glen Rock, Fair Lawn,
Paramus, Saddle Brook and Rochelle Park. I only photographed a small section of
a very long line of bicyclists, riding single file.
I feel as if I only began to scratch the surface of this lovely park, so I’m sure I’ll be back by the end of the year.
