Quote of the Day (C. S. Lewis, on His Late Awareness of Forgiveness)
"I had been a Christian for many years before I
really believed in the forgiveness of sins, or more strictly, before my
theoretical belief became a reality to me.”— British academic, novelist, and
Christian apologist C. S. Lewis (1898-1963), in an April 15, 1958 letter to an
unnamed recipient, in Letters to an American Lady (1967)
I'm a librarian (no, NOT a "cybrarian" or "information scientist" or any of the other trendy terms the profession has come up with), as well as a freelance writer/researcher; my political leanings are contrarian, much to the dismay of friends on the left and right, and so I will give anyone looking for my vote exactly what they deserve -- the back of my hand
