Photo of the Day: Ready for Their Closeup: At NY’s Cathedral of St. John the Divine



On a Saturday afternoon trip to Morningside Heights back in April, I took this shot, of a photographer snapping bride and groom on the steps of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. It seemed more appropriate, though, to wait a few months—till now—for the favorite wedding period of the year, before I posted it here.

Let’s hope that connubial bliss hasn’t worn off for this couple quite yet.

Photo of the Day: White Peacock in the City



Believe it or not, this white peacock was on the grounds outside the Cathedral of St.John the Divine when I visited the Morningside Heights section of New York a week and a half ago. I was startled at the sight of it, especially right in the city of Gotham.
