As I sorted through the images I took this past Sunday
at Nyack Beach State Park in
Rockland County, this one practically leaped out of the computer screen. The
scarlet-flamed leaves, I guess, just stood out against the view of the Hudson
River here—an ideal way to convey the allure of autumn in upstate New York.
I just wish I knew the name of this particular tree. Please feel free to send your suggestions.
