Photo of the Day: Found Where Least Expected

These flowers bloomed not in my garden or anyone else’s, but, in all places, in a small patch of soil next to a bank parking lot in my town.  Immediately, as has become my tendency over the last few years, I pulled out my camera and took this shot.
