The Sly and the Family Stone oldie from the late
Sixties sprang to mind when I looked up at a video wall overlooking Duffy Square in midtown Manhattan about a week ago. People couldn’t get enough of
themselves onscreen, so they had to photograph themselves staring up at the
figures of themselves, too.
