This post is for those (very much including old friends who keep up on my doings through this blog or on Facebook) who might be “so far away and so long,” but whom I could never forget if I tried. It is especially for the people in my life who have passed on, but not before making the best part of me and securing a permanent space in my heart in the process.

Someone once wrote me a thank-you card with the line, “Friends are forever.“ Same with family. As Todd sings: How much I loved you, you’ll never know.
