As with my prior blog post earlier this week, I took this
photo from the "Out of Site: Contemporary Sculpture at Chesterwood”
exhibition at the summer home and studio of Daniel Chester French in
Stockbridge, Mass.
This particular sculpture, “Ghost House,” by Douglas Culhane, made of wood and paint, was created between 2014 and this year. Someone looking at this—such as the artist—may liken a bird house to a ghost house in the sense that both provide opportunities to settle.
