Photo of the Day: Out for Night Market, Englewood NJ
Earlier this week, from 5 to 11, part of the street that
constitutes the downtown area of my hometown, Palisades Avenue, temporarily
became a pedestrian mall for Englewood Market Night. Though I went by early in
the proceedings, the throngs and the traffic grew considerably when I walked
through three hours later, as seen in this photograph I took at that later
point.
I'm a librarian (no, NOT a "cybrarian" or "information scientist" or any of the other trendy terms the profession has come up with), as well as a freelance writer/researcher; my political leanings are contrarian, much to the dismay of friends on the left and right, and so I will give anyone looking for my vote exactly what they deserve -- the back of my hand
