The Sunday afternoon when I visited Storm King Art Center late this past
October felt like an unusually raw day for that point in the fall. After the
last six weeks, however, it seems, in contrast, like a walk on a warm beach.
Foolishly on that day, I did not note many names of artworks or artists represented among the outdoor sculptures in this 500-acre landscape located an hour north of New York City. This was one of those unattributed (by me) sculptures. But as you can see, it left a deep impression on me.
