Photo of the Day: Wonderful Winter Berry Bush
Here is still another in the series of photos I took
in late December (beginning with this prior post) of the High Line, an
elevated freight line on New York’s West Side that has now been converted to a
public park. In this instance, I focused on one element of the plant life that
has sprung to life here—specifically, the winter berry bush.
(Thanks to my friends Charlie, Pat and Brian for their advice on this post.)
I'm a librarian (no, NOT a "cybrarian" or "information scientist" or any of the other trendy terms the profession has come up with), as well as a freelance writer/researcher; my political leanings are contrarian, much to the dismay of friends on the left and right, and so I will give anyone looking for my vote exactly what they deserve -- the back of my hand
