Photo of the Day: Last of the Sloppy Stuff?
I took the photo below of my street as I trudged on
my way to work this morning. All, thankfully, gone by the time I made it home at night. Still,
it was annoying to deal with in the morning—first, to get this stuff off the
car and shovel/brush it off my sidewalk and driveway, then to tread carefully through
it as I made my way gingerly to the bus.
Winter doesn’t want to leave its cold, clammy hands off
us, does it?
I'm a librarian (no, NOT a "cybrarian" or "information scientist" or any of the other trendy terms the profession has come up with), as well as a freelance writer/researcher; my political leanings are contrarian, much to the dismay of friends on the left and right, and so I will give anyone looking for my vote exactly what they deserve -- the back of my hand
