Quote of the Day (Pope Francis, on How ‘Goodness Always Tends to Spread’)
“Goodness always tends to spread. Every authentic
experience of truth and goodness seeks by its very nature to grow within us,
and any person who has experienced a profound liberation becomes more sensitive
to the needs of others. As it expands, goodness takes root and develops. If we
wish to lead a dignified and fulfilling life, we have to reach out to others
and seek their good.”—Pope Francis, Evangelii Gaudium(“Joy of the
Gospel”), Nov. 24, 2013
I'm a librarian (no, NOT a "cybrarian" or "information scientist" or any of the other trendy terms the profession has come up with), as well as a freelance writer/researcher; my political leanings are contrarian, much to the dismay of friends on the left and right, and so I will give anyone looking for my vote exactly what they deserve -- the back of my hand
