Joke of the Day (Molly Ivins, on DC and State Capital ‘Bozos’ and Our Lives)
“What stuns me most about contemporary politics is
not even that the system has been so badly corrupted by money. It is that so
few people get the connection between their lives and what the bozos do in
Washington and our state capitals.”—Molly Ivins, “It’s All Politics,” Arizona Daily Star, Nov. 3, 2002
I'm a librarian (no, NOT a "cybrarian" or "information scientist" or any of the other trendy terms the profession has come up with), as well as a freelance writer/researcher; my political leanings are contrarian, much to the dismay of friends on the left and right, and so I will give anyone looking for my vote exactly what they deserve -- the back of my hand
