Yesterday morning, just before the workday started,
I stopped for a few minutes across from my office in Rockefeller Center to
listen to the latest in the “All-American Summer Concert Series” sponsored by “Fox and Friends.”
The headliner this time was Justin Moore,
who—not coincidentally—was promoting the release, that very day, of his new CD,
Kinda Don't Care.
The song I heard Moore play was “Til My Last Day (I’ll
Be Loving You).” But I think that this rising musician (he was named New Artist
of the Year at the 2014 Academy of Country Music Awards) might have caught the
mood of Northeasterners in the grip of a heat wave with the title of his latest
single: “You Look Like I Need a Drink!” (Well, maybe shortened to the last four words, anyway...)
