A little over a month ago, I visited Providence Place Mall, an urban mall in
the capital of Rhode Island. It is quite the destination, for visitors as much
as for locals. The night after my visit to the mall, some of the performers on the “Last
Comic Standing” tour stop at the nearby “Vets” Auditorium mentioned their brief walk around
this retail property.
