No, Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac were nowhere in
evidence. But the lyrics to their Seventies hit came to mind when I saw this
particular ride at a carnival held today at Overpeck County Park in Leonia, N.J., not far from where I live. As
soon as I saw the name of the ride, it became a prime target for my camera. I
associate carnivals overwhelmingly with summer, so this one, at the start of
fall, made me think a great deal about “the seasons of my life.”
