his 1954 novel, The Fellowship of the Ring. Ridgewood is a few miles from where
I live in Bergen County, NJ, but I certainly felt drawn to the beauty of trees
when I walked in this sylvan setting at the edge of town, in Saddle River County Park, the site of this prior blog post of mine.
