Photo of the Day: Wizard of Oz in New Jersey?

Photo of the Day: Davies Arboretum and Wildlife Preserve, Demarest NJ

This past Sunday, while driving from another site, I passed this 18-acre site a few miles from where I live in Bergen County, NJ. Davies Arboretum and Wildlife Preserve was begun in 1977 on land purchased with Green Acres funds. Included on the site are the low-maintenance flowering trees, shrubs, and other plantings.

Photo of the Day: Vacant Tenant?

I took this picture of a bird house a few weeks ago while visiting Thielke Arboretum in Glen Rock, N.J., not far from where I live in Bergen County.

Photo of the Day: Fall, Before It Goes
