Quote of the Day (Metta World Peace, on Elbow Pasta Vs. Shell Pasta)
“We were eating pasta. He had elbow pasta, I had
shell pasta, and I told him how my shell pasta is better than his elbow pasta.
And he was pretty upset about that. He loves elbow pasta, but I disagree, I
think shell pasta is better. I don't care. I will stand by that. Shell
pasta.”—New York Knick Metta World Peace, explaining the reason for an argument
in morning practice with teammate Kenyon Martin, quoted in Frank Isola, “Knicks' Carmelo Anthony Stands by Mike Woodson Despite Coach Being on Hot Seat,” New York Daily News, December 4, 2013
I'm a librarian (no, NOT a "cybrarian" or "information scientist" or any of the other trendy terms the profession has come up with), as well as a freelance writer/researcher; my political leanings are contrarian, much to the dismay of friends on the left and right, and so I will give anyone looking for my vote exactly what they deserve -- the back of my hand
