Quote of the Day (George Bernard Shaw, on How Much the Soul Eats)

“It eats music and pictures and books and mountains and lakes and beautiful things to wear and nice people to be with. In this country you can't have them without lots of money; that is why our souls are so horribly starved.”—George Bernard Shaw, Heartbreak House (1919)

I like the rational quotations of George Bernard Shaw.

Brevity in language is a good idea. If people would "think" before the "speak", the world would be a more rational place.

Hundreds of years ago there was no modern technological confusion. People read books.
