It was only early this past December when I stepped beyond
the Maine Memorial at Columbus Circle
and snapped this shot inside Central Park, near Central Park West.
It’s hard to bear that a New Jerseyan like me—and, far worse, New York residents—haven’t been able to experience the wonder and beauty of Central Park in weeks, and won’t be able to for who knows how long. But these are the times in which we live and the sacrifices we are called to make.
