On Saturday, at Hudson River Park in lower Manhattan, I stood, more or less in one spot, and snapped what felt like endless pictures of
bicycle riders. The one I selected for a blog post yesterday focused squarely on an individual, and cropping the
picture enabled me to sharpen that focus further.
But I picked that with some reluctance over this
one you see now. There is more complexity in this image—three riders, not simply
one, going in opposite directions—and, consequently, a potential positive outcome (three riders, not just one,
completing their journey).
