It’s only been three months since the Sunday
afternoon that I visited the New Jersey Botanical Garden in Ringwood, NJ. But in terms of the weather—and the
resulting emotional atmosphere on the site—it feels far more distant in time. I’m
glad I was able to record the scene here before the leaves had
fallen for good.
For out-of-staters who mistakenly think New
Jersey is all highways and refineries, this combination of specialty gardens
and woodlands is must viewing.
