Photo of the Day: Esplanade, Battery Park City, NYC

Last Monday afternoon, while visiting Lower Manhattan, I took this photograph of the Esplanade at Battery Park City—a mile-long stretch of parkland and gardens, all with the Hudson River to the west as a majestic backdrop. No wonder that so many people were out in force that day to enjoy the walk and the weather.
