Well, no name known to me, anyway.
I encountered this fine specimen over the weekend on
a trip to the Overpeck County Park
in Leonia, N.J., not far from where I live. Curious, I crossed the road over to
a place where I am nearly have gone: the Bergen Equestrian Center, one of two
horseback-riding facilities in Bergen County. The facility recently reopened
after being closed for the last three years for $4.7 million in improvements.
All I can say is: It’s a long time since I heard so
much neigh-ing as this past Sunday.
