Quote of the Day (Cyril Connolly, on Writing for Audiences)
“Better to write for yourself and have no public, than to write for the public and have no self.”—British novelist and critic Cyril Connolly, The New Statesman, Feb. 25, 1933
Great quote, Mike. As someone who's blogging just about daily these days, I try to keep it in mind. It's easy to think you're writing for someone else, but at the end of the day if it doesn't have any meaning for you, it's worthless. Enjoying your blog!
